Zoom call is only 40minutes and will be starting at exactly 8pm.

💭These presentations will be followed by a casual question/answer session on discord and hopefully give any new members an opportunity to meet new people and chat about climbing.
(Discord link will be given during the presentation for anyone interested).

Everyone is welcome and we are looking forward to seeing some new faces. Hopefully this presentation will give you all an insight into some of our pre-covid trips and what QUBMC has to offer!😁

We want to know more about you!

Hope everyone is enjoying their October!! We’ve created a questionnaire to help us get to know you better. It’s quite short and it has pictures, so give it whirl.

Mountaineering Questionaire

And we have two events coming up this month. The first is a bouldering day at Meelmore Lodge in the Mournes on Saturday the 17th of October, weather and covid dependant. Then on the 25th of October, we are planning a hike up Slieve Donard. Make sure you’re a part of the Facebook Group as that is where things are shared and you can sign up for events!

Thanks everyone and climb on

Sunday Hikes Possible Dates!

Hey everyone! I hope you are all well and staying safe during this strange new term at uni! As you know the club has plans in the works for some socially distanced hikes in the Mournes and we are excited to bring you these possible dates:
Sunday 25th October
Sunday 15th November
Sunday 6th December

These dates are constantly being reviewed with covid and weather in mind, but keep your eyes out on our social media for more information closer to the time!
These hikes will be beginner friendly so it would be lovely to see new members there!
As a heads up- the club will not be arranging transport. We’ll give more information about hike locations closer to the time so you can plan how to get there safely.

Some kit to consider getting before the hikes (for your safety)
:-Waterproof layer (coat required, trousers recommend)
-Comfortable sturdy shoes (preferably hiking boots/shoes)
-Personal medication/first aid kit
-Water bottle + snacks

Get psyched for this year’s club trips. Here’s a few Spain highlights. Take this time to train hard, get strong and work on that tan!
