That’s perfect for now. The week after works just as well, except I wouldn’t be able to join until the Monday. But I know the way to Skye so its nae bother πŸ˜€

I know we haven’t had the first of this years club trips yet, but I’m attempting to plan the next few (uncertain) months of my life and need to incorporate mountains. I heard a rumour that the Trad Trip would be to the bonny Isle of Skye (correct me if I’m wrong, of course) and as the Black Cuillin has so far alluded me over the years, not for…[Read more]

I find the punctured bellows reduce sound quality significantly

I missed Rooney’s song, so if anyone has a recording it would be most welcome πŸ˜€

  • Great stuff! See yous there πŸ˜€

  • Suffering from a bit of a sinus infection at the minute (possibly sea water frolicking induced), but will hopefully be feeling much better by Saturday! It’s not that a hot toddy won’t fix πŸ˜€

  • I am one year older this Saturday and I am suggesting attending one of Belfast’s fine imbibing establishments. You fine folk are all invited if you can make it πŸ™‚ I am suggesting the Mister John Hewitt for around 8:30

  • Kora, we will be heading before 6, hopefully around 4pm. What time do you need to be back in Belfast on Monday?

  • aimees replied to the topic Climbing Sat 21st in the forum Meets 4 years, 7 months ago

    There is space Michael πŸ™‚

Conor does not need a lift. Without himself (and excluding Jo and Simone) we have Alex, Selina, Rooney, Micheal, Jennie and Fegan (are you guys still going?). Six people we can share between myself and Owen’s car

Rooney is signing out gear at 9 tomorrow morning. Drop him a message, he should be able to

  • aimees replied to the topic Climbing Sat 21st in the forum Meets 4 years, 7 months ago

We have at least two cars going, if we need the third then we will have 9 possibly 10 spaces in total. Should be more than enough

  • aimees replied to the topic Climbing Sat 21st in the forum Meets 4 years, 7 months ago

There should be space Selina Β as it looks like we have enough cars now πŸ™‚

Alrighty so. Myself and Owen will be leaving at around 9/9:30ish. Have at least one car (can have second if needed) and heading to Pigeon.

Can pick people up from the PEC in the morning. Jo, if you could sign out a rope and rack that would be great πŸ™‚

  • aimees replied to the topic Climbing Sat 21st in the forum Meets 4 years, 7 months ago

We could possibly have two cars going from Belfast so if we could also get Peter’s car then we will have enough spaces for everyone. Otherwise we have a problem with transport.

Also, do we have enough ropes/racks? I have a small amount of gear, Owen has rope and rack. Alex, you have a rope?

What time are people looking to leave. Alex, you want…[Read more]

Anyone up for a wee bit of perambulation in the Mournes tomorrow or Sunday. Weather currently looks better for Sunday… but that could change!

As usual, I have car, can drive – ice-cream stop mandatory…

  • Dermot, see Sineads post in Kevins thread. Some of us are heading down earlier and coming back before the weekend… your year could yet be saved!
