Hey guys, we need some nice hi-res photos you’ve taken for our background here (you can see 2x so far), if anyone has some nice high res images they’ve taken link them here and we’ll use them as part of the site’s backgrounds 🙂
They don’t have to be this size:
But anything 2560 px long edge and above would be perfect!

Not sure if these are what you want, but feel free to use any of mine on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/
Also, nice idea, but on my less-than-up-to-scratch laptop, it slows the site down a wee bit.March 19, 2014 at 17:52 #1202
It would be your internet not your laptop that has trouble loading it?
*waits for Myles, Prebs or Andys approval*March 19, 2014 at 18:11 #1203
Pretty sure my internet’s grand. Downloading stuff is as fast as it should be, but Firefox acts like its about to crash every 5 minutes.March 19, 2014 at 21:12 #1204
Im on a new MBP though so I can’t tell, thats why we need people to report it for us 🙂March 19, 2014 at 22:25 #1206March 20, 2014 at 13:36 #1239
Selection of shots from my harddrive.
Also my work computer shit a brick when the background changed.March 20, 2014 at 13:38 #1240
Maybe i’ll just have it change on page refresh?March 20, 2014 at 13:43 #1247
It seems okay with the changes now…. maybe its learning.
Also, these backgrounds look awesome on the dual screen (because you can actually see them).March 20, 2014 at 13:44 #1248
Oooh everything is translucent now. Approve!March 20, 2014 at 14:29 #1252
Is there an option to turn it off anywhere (for each person) because the site’s nigh-unusable for me?March 20, 2014 at 14:39 #1253
Only changes on page refresh now, any better Alex?March 20, 2014 at 14:50 #1255
Much.March 20, 2014 at 14:51 #1260
I’m going to turn it back on, I compressed and changed res of images – should play nice with your MBP now, tell me if you see any problems.March 20, 2014 at 15:10 #1267
MBP? I wish. They stopped making my laptop 5/6 years ago…
Mostly better, but it still shudders/freezes when changing, especially when loading a new page.
