KeymasterLooking for cheap cams? 7 cams (5 dragons and 2 old BD Camelots) floating around 60 quid at the moment.
rrp for the dragons alone is 300 quid.
if you are not looking for all of them you should pool your money with someone else and split them if they stay cheap

ParticipantBid cos why the hell not. Probably want to split if anyone’s up for it?

ParticipantAnyone heard of/used Kouba gear before? There seems to be a fair bit floating round on eBay, including this bizarreness: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kouba-Abalak-nuts-set-/111331616109?pt=UK_Sporting_Goods_Climbing_Mountaineering&hash=item19ebe1a56d Tricams on a wire?

ParticipantTricams on wire sound damn excellent. Temptation. I could split some of the cams of you wanted?

ParticipantCoolio. What’s your limit? Just got outbid at £100.

ParticipantKouba cams just look like a Cezh rip of of camalots. As does most of their gear, cheaper rip off of other gear. I’m very tempted.

ParticipantI thought they mostly looked like DMM rip-offs. They even have offests!
How much were you thinking of putting in to buying the eBay cams?
May 7, 2014 at 15:04 #1975Thomas
ParticipantMy limit is half of whatever your limit is as I trust you to be sensible.
May 7, 2014 at 15:12 #1976The Club Cat
ParticipantSo, £50 if I put £100?

InactiveKouba stuff isn’t UIAA rated.

Don’t know about CE rated, but I doubt it.

ParticipantNot to us, unfortunately. I put in £185, then went to sleep. Woke up two hours after it finished and we’d lost…
