Pretty sure everyone has either put up with me moaning about my too small pair of Evolv Defys or has witnessed the hilarity of me hobbling around after wearing them til they became agonising.
As such, for the benefit of everyone, I have been looking at alternatives and I rather like the look of this pair:

What makes you think that theyll be better for your feet though? Why not go back to the red chillis?November 29, 2013 at 11:52 #915
What size street shoe are you in comparison to the defys? unless you are a thousand shoe sizes down, the reason the defys wont fit is the shape of your foot. The best option is to go to cotswolds and try different shoes on to see what sort of shoe fits well. Then look on line and look for similar shoes or the same shoe on sale. I have wide feet and the defys fit me well. Do you have dainty lady feet dermot?December 4, 2013 at 11:22 #942
Haha I wish they were dainty as opposed to horrifically mutated! I bought size 9 when I would normally wear 9.5 or 10 in regular shoes. This was Cotswold man’s idea.
@chris: there seems to be an abundance of excellent reviews for them so assuming I bought the size that fits me, I reckon they’d probably be fineDecember 4, 2013 at 11:26 #944
I think for us casuals, the pain of going down a shoe size just ain’t worth it!
Reviews look good, unless you can find the same thing at a better price I think you’re onto a winner
