ParticipantI know we haven’t had the first of this years club trips yet, but I’m attempting to plan the next few (uncertain) months of my life and need to incorporate mountains. I heard a rumour that the Trad Trip would be to the bonny Isle of Skye (correct me if I’m wrong, of course) and as the Black Cuillin has so far alluded me over the years, not for lack of trying, I would be very tempted to book time off early for this trip.
Am I right in assuming proposed trip dates are the week before Easter? Easter weekend is the 3rd – 5th of April this year. Or at least is it sometime around then?
Thank you! 🙂

ModeratorProposed dates based on the committee meeting last night were the 4th – 11th April (Easter Saturday to the following Saturday).
Skye was floated as the venue as well.
Other than that, no more information that I can offer…

ParticipantThat’s perfect for now. The week after works just as well, except I wouldn’t be able to join until the Monday. But I know the way to Skye so its nae bother 😀

ParticipantGoing over Easter itself? Sure we’d be better being back on Easter saturday (as we normally do) as going over Easter will prevent some people from being able to go.
Makes no difference to me, mind.

ParticipantTents
I can bring a 5 man tent to Skye and probably a spare tent if it is needed. I will pick them up form my parents this weekend. Who wants spaces?
Also my Tommy Snr. is missing a purple single pole 2 man Vango tent. Any of you cretins have it?
